Electrical Section Manager – Corrective Maintenance

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Section Manager to lead Corrective Maintenance activities for electrical equipment and systems within the power plant. The role focuses on troubleshooting, breakdown maintenance, root cause analysis, and improving equipment reliability to minimize plant downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities for electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and equipment breakdowns to ensure safe and timely restoration.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical and recurring failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of generators, transformers, motors, switchgear, protection systems, and electrical distribution systems.
• Coordinate with Operations and related teams to prioritize urgent maintenance and minimize plant downtime.
• Manage manpower, contractors, spare parts, tools, and resources for maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment failure history and maintenance performance to improve plant reliability and availability.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety requirements, engineering standards, and plant procedures.
• Lead, coach, and develop the electrical maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong experience in Electrical Maintenance / Corrective Maintenance in power plants, utilities, petrochemical, or heavy industry.
• Solid knowledge of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, motors, switchgear, and protection systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in team management, contractor management, and maintenance planning.
• Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
