Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system setups
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and circuit testers to identify faults and determine solutions
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring assemblies
• Follow strict electrical safety procedures to protect yourself and others during installation, troubleshooting, or repair activities
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively in various construction or renovation projects
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation or repair tasks on complex systems
• Assist in high-voltage electrical wiring projects while adhering to safety standards for high-voltage environments
• Support construction site activities by framing carpentry or handyman tasks as needed to facilitate electrical work

Experience

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
• Hands-on experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics for complex systems
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards and local electrical codes required for safe installation and maintenance
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
• Experience working on high-voltage electrical wiring projects in construction or renovation environments
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage control systems is highly desirable
• Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining safety standards
• Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills in diagnosing issues within intricate electrical networks

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
