Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Generac Installer and Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Generac generators and related electrical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive reliable power solutions while providing exceptional customer service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in electrical systems, equipment repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair Generac generators and associated electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to ensure precise installation and maintenance
• Perform diagnostic testing using electrical diagnostics tools to identify issues quickly and accurately
• Conduct diesel engine repairs, mechanical systems repair, and heavy lifting as required during installation or service calls
• Utilize hand tools, power tools and other manual tools to complete tasks efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and manufacturer specifications
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations and maintenance procedures clearly

Skills

• Service technician background preferred
• Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair
• Experience with equipment repair, or generator repair highly desirable
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting methods
• Mechanical knowledge of engines such as Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery advantageous
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance routines and manual handling safety practices
• Experience working with electrical systems in both residential and commercial environments

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
