Job Description

The Assistant Electrical Service Manager will be responsible for assisting with completing service work orders received from customers by the service coordinator. The work will consist of installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, primarily covering schools, commercial, light industrial, and residential sectors. The Electrical Service Manager will also assist with assigning and supervising other service technicians to ensure efficient completion of work orders.

Responsibilities:

• Complete service work orders as received from customers by Service Coordinator
• Assign and supervise other Service Technicians
• Assist with estimating as required for projects that require the Service Department
• Walk potential projects to assess current and desired state to assist with estimation
• Have knowledge of what skills, tools, and equipment will be required to safely and successfully complete work
• Effectively lay out workers to complete work in the most efficient manner
• Report directly to Vice President of Business Services as required and provide monthly activity and sales reports and other information as assigned by Vice President

Requirements:

• Proven experience in installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems
• Knowledge of schools, commercial, light industrial, and residential sectors
• Ability to assist with estimating projects that require the Service Department
• Ability to effectively assign and supervise other Service Technicians
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to provide monthly activity and sales reports and other information as assigned by Vice President

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
