Electrical Services Manager

Lead Our Electrical Division

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrician to join our team and take a leading role in managing and developing our electrical division.

As part of a well-established and respected multi-trade business that has been operating in Western Australia for over 30 years, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of our electrical operations while working across a diverse range of commercial facilities throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to step beyond the tools, take on greater responsibility and play an important role in the continued growth of our electrical division.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day operations of the Electrical Service Division, including minor projects, Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance;
• Identify and develop potential opportunities for business growth by creating and following up on new client opportunities;
• Oversee all labour and materials required for projects;
• Process compliance notices;
• Ensure all electrical works are to standard;
• Process Quotes and Variations for clients;
• Manage client issues;
• Assist the Preventative Maintenance team to create new proposals for potential clients;
• Identify, monitor and achieve all agreed financial targets;
• Support the GM to provide commercial input to strategy, business planning and execution, and implementation of business improvements; and
• Adhere to OH&S procedures.

Required Skills

• A proven track record of successfully managing electrical and maintenance services contracts across a range of industry;
• Substantial experience to managerial level within the electrical industry with a track record in delivering agreed targets;
• Experience in managing contract / project deliverables successfully;
• A strong influencer, negotiator and good leadership skills;
• Excellent people management skills and the ability to bring out the best in your direct reports;
• Exceptional time management skills;
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication and networking skills and relationships within the WA market;
• Good IT literacy (project software, spreadsheets, email etc.)

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• Current Full Electrical Contractors Licence;
• Current Driver’s Licence; and
• Current Blue/White Card. Card
