Electrical Site Engineer – FEWA / EtihadWE

Responsible for execution and supervision of electrical distribution and underground cable works in accordance with FEWA/EtihadWE requirements, approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise underground 11kV/LV cable laying, pulling, jointing and termination works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and energization activities.
• Execute works according to FEWA/EtihadWE standards and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with FEWA/EtihadWE engineers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Prepare site inspections, work permits, material requests and progress reports.
• Monitor manpower, materials and daily site activities.
• Ensure quality, HSE compliance and timely completion of works.
• Coordinate cable route, trenching and related civil/interface works.
• Resolve site technical issues and ensure proper documentation and handover.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• MOE Equivalency Certificate required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience in electrical utility/infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience in 11kV underground cable works is required; 33kV experience is an advantage.
• FEWA/EtihadWE project experience preferred.
• UAE Driving License preferred.
• Experience in the Northern Emirates will be preferred.
