Electrical Site Engineer – (Interior Fit-Out)

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Engineer with strong UAE experience in interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical works at site, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining quality, safety, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical works at interior fit-out project sites.
• Review electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure electrical installations are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and UAE standards.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Interior Designers, MEP consultants, subcontractors, and other project teams.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is progressing according to the project schedule.
• Supervise installation of lighting, power points, wiring, containment, DBs, cable trays, switches, sockets, and other electrical systems.
• Coordinate electrical works with architectural, joinery, HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP works to avoid site conflicts.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and quality standards.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Check material requirements and coordinate with procurement and site teams.
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and update the Project Manager on project status.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and snagging works.
• Ensure electrical works comply with approved materials, method statements, and safety requirements.
• Monitor subcontractors and workers to ensure proper execution of electrical works.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, material requirements, and site measurements when required.
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities for inspections and approvals when required.
• Ensure all electrical works are completed within the agreed project timeline and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in electrical site engineering, preferably in interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and fit-out works.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of UAE electrical standards and site practices.
• Experience coordinating with MEP contractors, consultants, and other site teams.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under project deadlines.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
