Salary: €80,000–€100,000 per annum, depending on experience

Are you an experienced Electrical Site Manager looking to take the lead on major construction projects across Munster?

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a leading engineering and construction contractor, delivering complex, high-value projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong site leader to take ownership of electrical installation activities from pre-mobilisation through to commissioning and final handover.

The Role:

As Electrical Site Manager, you will lead all on-site electrical activities, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, clients and wider project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical site activities from project start-up through to commissioning and handover.
• Support construction planning, programme development and short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Manage subcontractors, site personnel, productivity and labour allocation.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, risk assessments and installation procedures.
• Drive a strong health, safety, environmental and quality culture across the site.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, building and other specialist trades.
• Monitor progress, manage variations and support commercial reporting alongside the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
• Oversee material deliveries, plant, equipment and site logistics.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and programme updates.
• Ensure testing, certification, snagging and final project documentation are completed to support successful handover.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recognised electrical apprenticeship or electrical trade qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years’ site management experience within electrical construction.
• Proven experience delivering electrical design-and-build projects valued in excess of €5 million.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, construction methodologies and project constructability.
• Experience managing subcontractors, coordinating multiple trades and leading site teams.
• A strong understanding of health and safety requirements, quality procedures and commissioning processes.
• Good commercial awareness, planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong IT and reporting skills.
• IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications would be advantageous.
