Electrical Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation works by Site Technicians, workers, and subcontractors in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
2. Plan daily site activities, manpower deployment, work priorities, and material requirements to achieve targeted progress and project schedules; monitor the usage, availability, and condition of materials, tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
3. Review electrical layouts, shop drawings, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, and installation details before work commencement; coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.
4. Inspect ongoing and completed works with the Clerk of Works (COW) to verify workmanship, installation accuracy, and compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
5. Monitor progress, maintain daily site records, and provide regular updates to the Site Manager, Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Manager on drawings, manpower, inspections, rectification, and project matters; promptly report delays, technical issues, drawing discrepancies, material shortages, and site constraints.
6. Supervise electrical testing, troubleshooting, rectification, testing and commissioning, consultant and authority inspections, handover works, and Defects Liability Period (DLP) activities.
7. Ensure all site personnel comply with safety procedures, PPE requirements, approved work methods, quality standards, housekeeping requirements, and company policies.

Requirements

• Certificate / SKM / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Building Services, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant electrical construction or site experience but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Supervisory experience will be an advantage.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and communication applications is preferred.
• Willing to work at construction sites and be transferred between project sites when required.
• Own Transportation required
