Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee Data Center projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that all electrical work aligns with project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations. The Electrical Superintendent will coordinate teams, manage schedules, review technical drawings, and ensure adherence to construction regulations. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications
• Review and interpret complex electrical blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts
• Coordinate construction schedules with project managers using scheduling software to meet deadlines
• Manage procurement, contracts, and subcontractor activities related to electrical scope of work while maintaining budget controls
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations
• Oversee quality control processes, including testing with tools such as ohmmeters, ensuring all electrical systems meet industry standards
• Collaborate with project teams on construction management software like ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, and HeavyBid for documentation and project tracking
• Supervise team members by providing clear management communication, training on safety protocols, and performance feedback
• Review construction drawings regularly for accuracy and clarity; coordinate with engineers and architects as needed
• Ensure proper management of construction site logistics including pipeline installations and heavy equipment operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy commercial or industrial electrical construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on-site
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for installation planning and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with federal safety regulations including OSHA standards; experience implementing safety programs on-site
• Strong understanding of construction regulations related to electrical systems and general site safety practices
• Excellent managerial communication skills with experience managing crews in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards
• Valid experience in interpreting technical drawings related to pipeline systems or similar infrastructure projects is preferred
• Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour or 500-hour training are highly desirable; proficiency with Ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits is a plus
