Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee electrical construction projects within the commercial sectors. Duties

• Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align project timelines, budgets, and safety protocols.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, sage, and other tools to plan, track, and report project progress.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for electrical installations while maintaining budget controls.
• Conduct regular safety meetings in compliance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to promote a culture of safety on-site.
• Oversee quality control processes including inspection of installations using tools like ohmmeters for testing electrical continuity and performance.
• Supervise the review of construction drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Manage subcontractor performance, enforce contractual obligations, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Ensure all work aligns with construction regulations, environmental standards, and company policies for safety and quality assurance.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial construction management with a focus on electrical systems.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and project scheduling methodologies such as Primavera P6.
• Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, Prolog, Primavera P6, HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and federal safety standards related to construction sites.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control measures, and procurement processes within large-scale projects.
• Hands-on experience supervising electrical installations on complex projects like pipelines or infrastructure developments is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications accurately while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective management of crews, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
