Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Electrical Superintendents to join our team in Houston, Texas, to oversee commercial electrical construction projects. In this role, you will manage daily field operations, supervise electrical crews, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial electrical construction experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage field personnel while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Electrical Superintendent Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction site operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Work closely with project managers to maintain project schedules and resolve field issues.
• Monitor project progress, workforce productivity, materials, and equipment needs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with applicable electrical codes.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Identify potential construction delays and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Lead, train, and mentor field personnel to maintain productivity and high-quality workmanship.
• Communicate project updates, manpower requirements, and field concerns to project management.
• Assist with project planning, cost control, estimating, and budgeting as needed.

Electrical Superintendent Requirements

• Must hold a valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a senior electrical construction leadership role.
• Strong background in commercial electrical construction.
• Experience supervising electrical crews on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices, applicable electrical codes, and construction safety standards.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and job-site safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Prolog is preferred.
• Experience with construction estimating, budgeting, and cost control is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site at construction projects in the Houston, Texas area.

Compensation

• $35.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
