Electrical Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join an established M&E contractor delivering electrical works on a major Tier 1 construction project in Oxford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation works, managing site operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor who is comfortable working within a fast-paced construction environment and coordinating electrical works alongside other trades.

The Role

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on site.
• Manage electrical operatives and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Coordinate electrical activities with other trades and the wider construction team.
• Monitor installation quality and resolve technical or site issues.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, RAMS and site requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong electrical installation background.
• Experience working on Tier 1 construction sites would be advantageous.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• ECS / CSCS Card.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage operatives, subcontractors and programme requirements.
