Electrical Supervisor

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to supervise and manage electrical and lighting works across ASG's turnkey projects, including exhibition stands, event productions, illuminated signage and interior fit-out projects.

The Electrical Supervisor will lead electricians and technicians in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality electrical installations while coordinating closely with fabrication, carpentry, signage and project teams. The role will also be responsible for the electrical maintenance of ASG's facilities, workshops, machinery and associated systems to ensure operational reliability and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Project Electrical Works

• Plan, coordinate and supervise electrical works for exhibition stands, events, illuminated signage and interior fit-out projects.
• Supervise installation of LED lighting, backlit signage, illuminated structures, power distribution systems, control panels and stand electrical fit-outs.
• Review electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare material take-offs and basic electrical load calculations.
• Plan manpower, tools, materials and equipment required for electrical works.
• Direct electricians and technicians in assembly, wiring, installation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Supervise electrical works both in the workshop and at project sites.
• Ensure proper installation, termination, testing and labeling of cables, distribution boards, control panels and electrical accessories.
• Coordinate with metal fabrication, carpentry, signage, production and installation teams to ensure electrical components are properly integrated into the finished product.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Teams regarding project requirements, work schedules and site constraints.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical and lighting systems prior to handover.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and arrange timely corrective action.
• Ensure completed electrical installations are inspected and tested before dispatch or site handover.

Venue & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure electrical works comply with applicable UAE electrical safety requirements, authority regulations and venue-specific requirements.
• Coordinate electrical requirements for venues such as ADNEC, DWTC and other exhibition/event venues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable requirements of authorities such as DEWA, ADDC, SEWA and relevant venue management, as applicable to the project location.
• Ensure electrical installations are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and applicable safety standards.
• Coordinate with venue electrical teams, contractors and authorities when required.

Facility & Workshop Electrical Maintenance

• Regularly inspect ASG's electrical infrastructure, including:
• Distribution boards and panels.
• Cabling and electrical accessories.
• General and emergency lighting.
• Power outlets and electrical connections.
• Workshop electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical systems associated with workshop machinery and equipment, including:
• CNC machines.
• Laser machines.
• Saws and cutting equipment.
• Welding machines.
• Air compressors.
• Spray booths.
• Extraction and ventilation systems.
• Other electrically operated production equipment.
• Identify electrical faults, unsafe conditions and potential equipment failures and take appropriate corrective action.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for facilities, machinery and electrical equipment.
• Arrange repairs and coordinate with external service providers where specialist support is required.
• Monitor equipment performance and minimize electrical-related machine downtime.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, repairs and breakdowns.

Team Supervision

• Supervise electricians, electrical technicians and helpers.
• Allocate daily tasks based on project priorities and maintenance requirements.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship and compliance with safety procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the electrical team.
• Ensure adequate manpower is available for project and workshop requirements.
• Train and guide team members on safe electrical working practices.
• Monitor attendance, work progress and performance of assigned personnel.

Materials, Tools & Inventory

• Prepare electrical material requirements based on project drawings and BOQs.
• Coordinate with Stores/Procurement for timely availability of electrical materials.
• Manage electrical tools, equipment and consumables.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Ensure electrical tools and testing equipment are properly maintained and calibrated where required.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of commonly required electrical spare parts and consumables.

Health & Safety

• Ensure all electrical activities are performed in accordance with Company HSE requirements.
• Ensure electricians and technicians use appropriate PPE and follow safe working procedures.
• Ensure electrical equipment and tools are properly inspected before use.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
