Electrical Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on-site. In this role, you will bridge the gap between project management, subcontractors/ company workers and site execution—ensuring all electrical, ELV system, Fire alarm system installations are completed safely, to high quality standards, and strictly on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily Electrical installation works (e.g., cable tray routing, cable installation, electrical DB, Control panels, light fittings positioning, lightning protections, etc.) to ensure execution strictly follows approved engineering drawings and specifications
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct-hire workers on-site, allocating daily tasks and resolving minor technical clashes promptly
• Monitor daily site progress against the master construction schedule and report potential delays or bottlenecks to the Project Manager and Project Engineer
• Conduct preliminary visual checks for services coordination (M&E clash detection with structural beams and architectural layouts) before final installation
• Coordinate and attend joint inspections with main contractors, consultants, and relevant statutory authorities (e.g., BCA, SCDF, PUB) for core-and-shell or fit-out works
• Verify incoming site materials and equipment deliveries against purchase orders, drawings, and approved sample submissions to ensure compliance
• Enforce strict Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices on-site, ensuring all workers wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to Permit-to-Work (PTW) protocols
• Conduct daily or weekly safety briefing/toolbox meetings for site crew prior to commencement of high-risk activities
• Testing and commissioning for Electrical and ELV works
• Arranging Electrical DB power turn-on and liaise with Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW)
• Immediately report any site hazards, near-misses, or accidents to the Safety Coordinator, Project Engineer and Project Manager
• Maintain a comprehensive daily site diary recording weather conditions, workforce headcount, machinery usage, material deliveries, and major site activities

About you

• National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS), ITE / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline
• Mandatory safety certifications such as Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) or Supervise Construction Work Safely (SCWS)
• Minimum 5 years of site supervisory experience within the Singapore construction or M&E contracting sector, handling commercial, residential, or industrial projects
• Strong working knowledge of local building codes, statutory requirements (SCDF, PUB, BCA), and ability to read detailed M&E layout and schematic drawings
• Resilient, firm yet diplomatic in managing workers, and capable of working in dynamic and physically demanding site environments
