Electrical Supervisor – MEP

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in MEP construction projects to supervise daily electrical installation activities, manage site technicians and electricians, and ensure all works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation activities at the project site.
• Oversee the installation of cable trays, conduits, cable pulling, lighting fixtures, power outlets, distribution boards, and electrical equipment.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, other MEP teams, subcontractors, and site management.
• Allocate daily tasks to electricians and technicians and monitor their productivity.
• Check materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety procedures.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams and consultants.
• Assist with electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rectification works.
• Identify site issues and report technical problems to the Electrical Engineer.
• Monitor manpower requirements, material usage, and daily work progress.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE electrical regulations and project HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in electrical supervision within the MEP contracting industry, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation works in building construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and shop drawings.
• Experience in supervising electricians, technicians, and site installation teams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, inspections, and testing activities.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice preferred.

Experience:
