What’s the opportunity?
To lead a wide variety of electrical, and structural project work in our prefabricated plantroom division. We need a hands-on supervisor to join our team. This role will be to manage and execute build projects in our New Plymouth based prefabricated plant room facility and occasionally onsite as required.

The job we have on offer:
We are looking to appoint a full-time experienced electrical supervisor/Leading hand to join our rapidly growing New Plymouth based prefabricated plant room team. The scopes of work you will be involved with are primarily the electrical and some structural portions of the plant room manufacturing process as well as oversight of the build, installation and commissioning. This position blends technical expertise, leadership, quality control, and client coordination.
As Entec runs a large apprentice programme your participation in training and mentoring is an expectation.

To be considered for this role you would need:

• proven experience in supervising projects in highly regulated environments,
• electrical construction experience
• excellent attention to detail,
• a high level of literacy and numeracy,
• familiarity with the MS Office suite of software and QA systems
• to be an effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholders,
• to be able to help create and work to production schedules,
• to promote Entec’s Health, Safety and Quality culture, and
• to be willing to work as part of a team.

Remuneration will be by way of competitive salary, dependent on trade qualifications, relevant experience, and any other skills you can bring to the business. The work is based in our new purpose built facility in Taranaki but would need to be able to commit to short stints working away from home periodically.
