Electrical System Engineer

A global EPCC is actively looking for two Electrical Systems Engineers to join their project delivery team in Singapore for a newly created role, supporting major greenfield semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing projects.

The role offers the opportunity to be directly involved in the delivery of complex electrical systems, with responsibility for on-site supervision, installation coordination, and project execution across semiconductor fabrication facilities. You will work closely with the client and project teams to ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on time, and to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

1. Oversee and coordinate on-site electrical installation activities for semiconductor fabrication facility projects.
2. Ensure electrical construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project standards.
3. Review and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications to facilitate smooth site execution and resolve technical issues.
4. Supervise and provide support for the installation of electrical power systems, including HV/LV distribution systems, transformers, UPS systems, generators, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
5. Assist with testing, commissioning, and energization works, including site preparation, readiness checks, and coordination with equipment vendors and utility providers.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven practical experience supervising electrical installation works on construction sites, preferably within semiconductor fabs or high-tech manufacturing facilities.
3. Proficient in reviewing, understanding, and interpreting electrical drawings and related documentation.
4. Good knowledge of construction work sequencing, site coordination, and subcontractor supervision.
5. Capable of working independently at site while coordinating efficiently with project teams, subcontractors, and Clients.
