We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer - Requirements & Verification for a direct hire opportunity supporting a large-scale aerospace and advanced technology program.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development, integration, and verification of highly complex systems while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams in a collaborative environment.

Position Summary

The Systems Engineer will join the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) organization and support system-level requirements management, interface definition, integration activities, and verification efforts for a sophisticated engineering program.

This role provides broad exposure across the full system lifecycle and involves close collaboration with customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and program stakeholders. The successful candidate will help ensure system requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and successfully verified while supporting overall program execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, validate, and maintain system-level requirements.
• Document, track, and manage requirements using approved requirements management tools.
• Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and engineering teams to execute verification analyses and test activities.
• Organize and coordinate objective evidence packages supporting verification and validation efforts.
• Support planning and execution of system-level technical reviews.
• Assist with interface definition and management across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Support system integration activities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical requirements are properly implemented and verified.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Systems Engineering, product development, design engineering, or a related field.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and engineering deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience participating in technical reviews and requirements discussions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain additional clearance levels if required.

• Experience supporting large-scale aerospace, defense, technology, manufacturing, or government programs.
• Familiarity with systems engineering processes and lifecycle methodologies.
