Electrical System Study Engineer

• Perform advanced power system analysis using ETAP and Matlab/Simulink for Short Circuit Analysis, Load flow studies, motor starting studies, harmonic analysis, protective relay coordination, arc flash studies, transient stability simulation incl. voltage ride through.
• Collaborate with external stakeholder and internal cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize electrical systems and ensure safety compliance and implement mitigation to ensure that the systems are efficient and reliable in accordance with regulations, standards, and class requirements.
• Streamline processes for delivering and documenting power system studies.
• Contribute to project planning and reporting.
• Provide expert advisory during commissioning.
• Update relevant documentation to as-built.
• To support local sales in regards to the tendering activity when needed. Desired Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Background in design and delivery of maritime power systems
• Good understanding of existing and future energy concepts for the maritime and offshore markets
• The candidate shall be able to demonstrate experience with power systems analysis and electrical infrastructure (HV/LV, AC/DC, DC/AC and DC/DC) for marine and offshore applications
• Familiar with Class Rules and IEC Guidelines
• Sophisticated in ETAP, Matlab experience is highly preferred
• Good communication, both oral and written in English
• Practically oriented with the ability to cooperate with colleagues, solve problems and deliver
