Electrical Team Lead – Data Center

Anan Data Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Team Lead to join our data center operations and maintenance team in Afula.

The successful candidate will join during the construction and commissioning phase and play a key role in preparing the facility for operational readiness, ensuring the safety, reliability, and continuous availability of critical electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the on-site electrical team, including shift personnel.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution infrastructure.
• Support electrical commissioning, testing, and operational readiness activities prior to facility activation.
• Prepare and review electrical switching procedures and technical drawings, ensuring appropriate authorization and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Lead electrical troubleshooting, incident response, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Plan and oversee electrical inspections, testing programs, and external testing contractors.
• Enforce electrical safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), work permits, and safe switching practices.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and competency development for electrical team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in electrical infrastructure operations and maintenance, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Practical Engineer diploma or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid Israeli electrician's license appropriate to the role.
• Hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and performing authorized switching activities on high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Good technical English proficiency.
• Availability for on-call response to critical electrical incidents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data centers or other 24/7 mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with electrical testing and protection relays.
• Experience supporting electrical commissioning and facility start-up.
• Manufacturer certifications for switchgear, UPS systems, or generators.
• High-voltage electrical authorization or relevant certification.
