  • Provide technical support and application guidance to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Assist customers and channel partners with product configuration, troubleshooting, and application-related questions.
  • Participate in product launches, technical workshops, and customer education initiatives.

Sales & Distributor Support Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical resource for Regional Sales Managers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Assist with application reviews, product selection, and solution recommendations.
  • Support sales efforts through customer visits, technical presentations, demonstrations, training events, and trade shows.
  • Provide technical input for proposals, quotations, and application recommendations.

Field Support Responsibilities

  • In special circumstances, assist with startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, or onsite customer support activities requiring advanced product expertise.
  • Support factory acceptance testing, product demonstrations, customer visits, and training events involving hands-on equipment operation.
  • Collaborate with Service and Engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Travel

  • Travel approximately 15% - 30% to customer sites, distributor locations, training events, trade shows, and Benshaw facilities across the United States.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Training, Applications Engineering, Field Service, Industrial Automation, or related role.

  • Experience with EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profinet, and Profibus.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and instructional skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, mining, water/wastewater, oil & gas, power generation, or heavy industrial markets.
