- Hands-on experience assembling, modifying, testing, or troubleshooting circuit boards, cable assemblies, or electromechanical systems.
- Experience with soldering, electrical assembly, board-level modifications, or electronics rework activities.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Experience using electrical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies, or related test instruments.
- Ability to communicate clearly, work effectively with engineers and technicians, and follow through on assigned tasks with attention to detail.
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related technical field.
- Experience performing SMT rework, fine-pitch soldering, jumper-wire modifications, trace cuts, part replacement, or other PCBA modifications.
- Experience supporting engineering prototype builds, board bring-up, hardware troubleshooting, or product development activities.
- Experience with schematic or layout viewers and engineering workflow systems such as ERP, PLM, ECO, or Jira.
- Experience with smart card, RFID, NFC, printing, motion control, test fixtures, sensors, motors, or other electromechanical systems.
- Openness to learning and applying modern tools, including AI-assisted tools, to improve documentation, task tracking, troubleshooting, and workflow efficiency.
