About the role

Select Goods is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our engineering team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our operations. As an Electrical Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and safety of our electrical infrastructure, directly supporting the company's operational efficiency and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to minimise downtime and extend asset life
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational requirements
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to restore normal operations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineering staff to complete projects and resolve technical issues
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements in electrical engineering

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in electrical technology, electrical engineering, or equivalent technical certification recognised in the Philippines
• Minimum 1-5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, power distribution, and control systems
• Practical experience with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and power analysers
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations relevant to electrical work in industrial or commercial environments
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical capability to perform tasks that may require climbing, bending, and lifting
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training
