Now Hiring at Essig! The Electrical Technician is a trained professional with expert knowledge of service & installation of all residential electrical systems. Success of this role will be measured by the ability to efficiently and accurately service & install residential electrical systems, resulting in leading to customer satisfaction with the finished product.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of electrical panel upgrades, lighting, EV chargers, generators & other residential electrical systems
• Be proficient and knowledgeable of Service System and follow it on all appointments
• Be on time for appointments; report timesheet accurately & punctually
• Work alongside customer service & dispatch to ensure overall success of the business
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck
• Troubleshooting a variety of residential electrical systems
• Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations
• Performs related work as assigned

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrical License preferred, or requisite experience
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and safety practices
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, instructions and rough drawings
• Ability to complete projects unsupervised
• Proficient in basic mathematics and conversions of measurements
• Familiar with wiring / cable, circuit breakers, PVC / MC, generators
• Valid Driver's License with no major infractions for the last five (5) years
• Ability to take and pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
• Professional appearance and personality
