Job Description Electrical Technician

Work Location: Toyota Motors, Bidadi

Key Responsibilities

• Execute electrical maintenance and installation work as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Inspect the work area and confirm there are no electrical hazards before commencing any electrical work.
• Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Identify, remove, reroute, and rectify Low Tension (LT) cables to eliminate abnormalities.
• Coordinate with the concerned departments for Power ON/OFF activities before carrying out maintenance or cable modifications.
• Strictly follow the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure during all electrical maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all safety standards, electrical regulations, and Toyota safety protocols.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in panels, motors, lighting systems, control circuits, and industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Maintain daily maintenance records, inspection reports, and breakdown logs.
• Ensure good housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.

Eligibility

• Qualification: ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2-3 years in industrial electrical maintenance (Automotive/Manufacturing preferred).
• License: Valid Government-issued Wireman License (Mandatory).

Required Skills

• Knowledge of LT electrical systems, motors, electrical panels, and control circuits.
• Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices, LOTO procedures, and PPE compliance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
