Electrical Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to oversee machine electrical assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting. This role involves pre-assembling electrical panels, terminating control systems, mounting electrical components, and handling basic PLC programming, uploading, and modifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform machine electrical wiring, including cable looping and secure installations.
• Terminate control electrical panels and ensure proper connections.
• Mount and assemble electrical components on panels following schematics and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and wiring issues during machine setup.
• Upload, modify, and perform basic PLC troubleshooting to optimize machine performance.
• Support final machine assembly, ensuring electrical systems align with operational requirements.
• Assist in relocating new machines, providing electrical setup, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with engineers and assembly teams to enhance machine functionality and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company protocols.

Expected skills needed:

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, ir a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Strong hands-on experience in machine wiring, panel termination, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming, including uploading and modifying logic.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
