Pay: $32-34/hr

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join a growing manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for building and wiring machine control systems, troubleshooting electrical and automated equipment, and supporting new and existing machinery.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, ladder logic, and industrial automation, along with hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, specifications, and technical instructions
• Build and wire machine control panels and junction boxes
• Install new electrical circuits and complete machine wiring
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Monitor automated systems using computer-based controls
• Troubleshoot automation systems using various PLC programs
• Apply a strong understanding of electrical theory and PLC ladder logic
• Perform service calls on new and existing machinery
• Use hand tools and electrical test equipment common to the trade
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members and assist with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs and automated equipment
• Understanding of PLC ladder logic
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Hands-on experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
• Comfortable using electrical test equipment and standard hand tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Commitment to following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
