Electrical Technician

Job Title: Electrical Technician

Reports to: Electrical Assembly Team Leader

Work Location: Kozzika, Helwan, Cairo

Job Purpose

Performs electrical installation, wiring, routing, connecting an also dismantling or assembly of electrical equipment activities from the reception cars to delivery to tests, and subsequently, solves open points of pending finishes, indicated by Quality.

Job Description

Follows Wiring instructions, connecting instructions and modifications information. as well as Check lists and control Sheets, to electrically assemble the parts and systems according to CAF procedures.

 Responsible for electrical assembly operation in the train, such as:

o Routing and installation of wires o Connection of electrical channels underframe to equipment and train

o Connection of main power strips underframe

o Wiring and connection underframe, in passenger area, driver desk, cabin and deck

o Assembly of electrical subassemblies underframe o Assembly and connection of traction equipment and equipment underframe

o Assembly and connect CCTV, Passenger Information System

o Installation interior and exterior lights

o Connection equipment HV and LV in roof’s train.

 Assists new operators in the modernisation work with the support of their manager.

 Finishing: solving the points detected in the assembly areas, by Quality or by the customer, so that the cars and units are finished,

 Based on the Planning, ensures the fulfilment of activities on time.

 Follows Agamafab, CAF procedures and Project documentation

 Completes Control Sheets in real time.

 Fulfil Quality objectives.

 Ensures tidiness, cleanliness and compliance with health and safety policies.

 Reports to the team leader and electrical manager

Qualifications

Education equivalent to a Medium-Level Training Cycle in Electricity

Experience

• Experience of at least two years, in industrial electrical maintenance activities
• Recommended experience on railway maintenance, electrical area.
