JOB DESCRIPTION: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

With Additional Skills in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) and PABX

Job Summary

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing electrical installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The position also involves maintaining and troubleshooting refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) systems and Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) telephone systems to ensure their proper and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform electrical installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.

2. Identify electrical faults and implement appropriate corrective measures.

3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.

4. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) systems.

5. Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot PABX telephone systems, telephone lines, and related communication components.

6. Identify and report electrical, RAC, and PABX-related defects or technical issues to the immediate supervisor.

7. Ensure the proper handling and use of tools, materials, and maintenance equipment.

8. Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.

9. Follow established safety procedures, technical standards, and applicable regulations.

10. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot window-type and split-type air-conditioning units.

11. Perform basic refrigeration system maintenance and troubleshooting.

12. Identify and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.

13. Apply proper safety procedures when handling electrical and refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of a vocational or technical course in Electrical Technology or a related field.

2. Preferably with experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

3. With additional knowledge or experience in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) maintenance and repair.

4. Basic knowledge of PABX telephone systems, telephone wiring, and troubleshooting.

5. Knowledgeable in electrical safety procedures and the proper use of tools and testing instruments.

6. Possess relevant technical qualifications or certifications, as required for the position.

7. Responsible, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: Php19,000.00 - Php21,000.00 per month
