Electrical Technician

Wierco, LLC is a growing industrial automation and electrical services company serving customers across multiple industries. We provide electrical installation, field service, troubleshooting, control panel builds, and custom machine integration.

We are looking for an Electrical Technician with hands-on electrician experience installing conduit, pulling wire, and troubleshooting electrical circuits. This role includes work at customer facilities and in our shop, supporting industrial electrical installations, machinery, and automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, bend, and install conduit, fittings, and supports
• Pull, route, and terminate power and control wiring
• Install and connect electrical equipment, control panels, motors, and field devices
• Read electrical drawings and schematics to complete installations and diagnose problems
• Troubleshoot power and control circuits using meters and other test equipment
• Identify and repair issues involving wiring, relays, contactors, motor starters, switches, and sensors
• Support machine wiring, installation, testing, and startup
• Follow applicable electrical codes and safe work practices, including lockout/tagout
• Communicate findings, material needs, and job progress clearly

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience as an electrician or industrial electrical technician
• Ability to independently bend and install conduit, pull wire, and make proper terminations
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits and systematic troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical prints and control schematics
• Experience using a multimeter to diagnose electrical problems
• Familiarity with industrial power distribution, three-phase motors, and control circuits
• Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer facilities

Preferred Experience

• Industrial electrical installation and machinery troubleshooting
• NEC Code knowledge
• Experience with variable frequency drives and motor controls
• Experience supporting equipment installation and startup
• Electrical apprenticeship, trade school, or journeyman experience

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
