JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is hiring an Electrical Technician to support HVAC installation and electrical projects. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable working with conduit, electrical wiring, and mechanical systems in an active jobsite environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Measure, bend, cut, and install EMT and other electrical conduit for HVAC equipment and controls.
• Pull and route electrical and control wiring through conduit.
• Support electrical installation of HVAC equipment, controls, sensors, panels, and related components.
• Read basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and construction plans.
• Install and terminate wiring while following applicable electrical and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues associated with HVAC equipment and controls.
• Work alongside HVAC technicians, electricians, and other trades to complete installations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, meters, and other electrical equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical technician, electrician, or electrical installation experience.
• Hands-on experience bending and installing conduit.
• Experience pulling wire and working with electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings or wiring diagrams.
• Comfortable working in commercial, industrial, or construction environments.
• HVAC electrical or controls experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

**Candidates coming from commercial electrical, HVAC controls, building automation, industrial electrical, or electrical construction should translate well, especially if they have strong conduit experience.**
