The opportunity

Due to recent expansion, we are seeking A-Grade Electricians to join our Northern and North West team on fixed term contracts for major construction projects. Multiple positions are available with an immediate start.

• Project rates from $69.58 to $73.82 per hour (Level 5 to Level 7)
• $30 per day travel allowance

About you

• A-Grade electrician with a current Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence
• Experience in industrial or commercial construction electrical works
• WHS White Card
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport to site
• Able to work the required project hours, including overtime
• Able to complete site inductions and obtain site security clearances, including a police check
• Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and electrical installation practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to communicate and work well with team members, clients and third parties
• Current First Aid, CPR and LV Rescue (preferred)
• Highly regarded
• HV reticulation, cable installation and termination, or testing and commissioning experience beneficial to the applicant
• Working at heights, EWP, confined space or asbestos awareness tickets
