The role

You'll be responsible for the electrical safety, reliability and technical integrity of LV and HV installations and electrical work equipment across several Dutch sites.

This is a hands-on electrician/electrical technician with that technical ownership; this could suit someone who is ready to take on that broader ownership. The key thing is understanding electrical installations and safeguarding the operations of the LV/HV installs & electrical equipment - you are able to set the standards.

Key responsibilities

• Make sure LV/HV installations and electrical work equipment operate safely
• Write and maintain electrical safety policies, procedures and access rules
• Plan periodic inspections and follow up on any defects found
• Carry out electrical safety risk assessments and internal audits
• Keep procedures for operation, maintenance, inspection and safe isolation up to date
• Oversee electrical work carried out by subcontractors and third parties
• Work with internal technical specialists and advise crew when needed
• Keep technical records, drawings and schematics accurate and current
• Prepare annual and long-term plans and budgets for maintenance, improvements and modifications
• Write technical specifications for new or upgraded installations
• Help Equipment Electricians with complex fault-finding

What you'll bring

• MBO/HBO qualification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 3 years' experience in an industrial or similar technical setting
• Solid knowledge of electrical safety standards and legislation
• NEN 3140 / NEN 3840 IV or WV certification, or willingness to get it
• Knowledge of NEN 1010 is a plus; STIPEL certification is a strong advantage
• Fluent English and Dutch, as some technical documentation is in Dutch
• A structured, precise and safety-first approach
• Confidence coordinating specialists, contractors and third parties
• Willingness to travel to other sites
