Job Description

We are looking for experienced Electrical Technicians, Electrical Engineers, and Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers with strong hands-on experience in HV/MV/LV electrical systems, electrical maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and shutdown operations.

Positions Available

• Electrical Technician (HV/LV) 10+ years of relevant experience
• Electrical Engineer 10+ years of relevant experience
• Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer 10+ years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities & Technical Experience

Candidates should have hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

• High and Medium Voltage electrical infrastructure maintenance and shutdown operations
• Large-capacity generators
• Load Break Switches (LBS)
• Transformers
• Switchboards
• Junction Boxes
• High-voltage cable inspection and testing
• Protection relays
• Grounding / earthing system testing
• Electrical inspection, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities
• Instrumentation systems, field instruments and control systems, where applicable

Electrical Testing Equipment Experience

Candidates must have practical experience with relevant electrical testing and diagnostic equipment used for HV/MV/LV systems.

Experience may include:

• Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) testing
• Insulation Resistance / PI testing
• Contact / winding resistance testing
• Power-factor and insulation diagnostics
• Circuit-breaker timing and testing
• Protection relay testing / secondary injection
• Primary injection testing, including CT ratio and polarity testing
• SF6 gas quality analysis
• HV cable testing
• AC/DC HiPot / HV withstand testing
• VLF cable testing
• Winding resistance analysis
• Ground / earth grid resistance testing

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong practical experience in HV/MV/LV electrical systems
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and shutdown operations
• Hands-on experience with relevant electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
• For E&I positions, relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation systems
• Good understanding of electrical safety and safe working practices
• Ability to work effectively in a project/shutdown environment
• Selected candidates must be able to make the necessary arrangements to be present in Malabo no later than 10 September 2026
