Electrical Technician (Multi-Skilled)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Technician (Multi-skilled) to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity where you will apply your expertise in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance across various technical and mechanical tasks. You will be working in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical and mechanical systems across the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and connect electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Set up and install electrical panels, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes.
• Install and connect electrical appliances and equipment, ensuring proper grounding and functionality.
• Perform installations and ground electrical systems for both new construction and renovation projects.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify faults or malfunctions.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components such as wiring, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Test and diagnose electrical systems using specialized equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and safety.
• Review electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand wiring layouts and connections.
• Plan and execute electrical installations based on provided specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagrams and schematics.
• Assist in daily administrative housekeeping tasks and documentation related to electrical projects.
• Replace common electrical components such as light bulbs and fuses.
• Perform errand duties and procure necessary materials or supplies as instructed.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and management to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as an electrician with comprehensive electrical systems knowledge.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • NC2 certification in Electronics and ACU.
  • Experience in genset operations, repair, and ACU configuration/troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to perform deep cleaning and maintenance on ACU systems.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity for hands-on tasks.

• Good to Have Skills:

  • Fire alarm system management and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledgeable in electronics and wiring installation.
  • Proficiency in computer use and record-keeping.
