Electrical Test Technician

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review manufacturing traveler instructions for electrical requirement.

• Ensure that all electrical measuring equipment such as digital voltmeter, frequency meter, Inductance Bridge, digital ohmmeter, auto-multiple tester, etc. are calibrated.
• Ensure that each part conforms to drawing electrical requirements.
• Perform pre-pot electrical verification prior to encapsulation parts.
• Perform quality conformance inspection for all completed parts to verify conformance to specification.
• Initiate a non-conformance report each time a part is found non-conformance to the requirement.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) six months of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must have the mental and visual ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, schematic diagram, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.
• Must have the knowledge of basic electricity both alternating and direct current.
• Must have the basic knowledge how to use various type of test equipment such multi-meter, ohmmeter, dielectric withstanding volt meter. Megohmmeter.
• Must have the mental ability to perform basic mathematic.
• Must have the physical ability to move parts weighing 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment; must be able to deal with delays, or unexpected events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
