Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for experienced Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineers to join our team for Data Center and MEP projects across India.

The candidate will be responsible for electrical equipment testing, commissioning, performance verification, inspection, troubleshooting and preparation of technical test reports in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and commissioning activities for Data Center electrical systems, including UPS, PDU, RPP, DG, LT Panels and associated power distribution systems.
• Conduct load bank testing for UPS, DG and other electrical systems using resistive and resistive-inductive load banks.
• Carry out Power Quality Analysis (PQA/PQM), including voltage, current, frequency, harmonics, THD, power factor and load measurements.
• Perform thermography inspections of electrical panels, cable connections, busbars and associated equipment.
• Support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), functional testing and performance verification.
• Operate and monitor testing instruments such as Fluke Power Quality Analyzers, insulation resistance testers, multimeters, clamp meters and thermal imaging cameras.
• Prepare test procedures, checklists, daily progress reports, test results and final testing and commissioning reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEM representatives and site execution teams to complete testing activities as per the approved schedule.
• Identify technical issues, troubleshoot electrical abnormalities and support the closure of testing observations and punch points.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, LOTO, PPE and applicable site HSE standards.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in Data Center electrical testing and commissioning
• Experience in UPS and PDU load testing
• Knowledge of DG load bank testing and performance verification
• Experience using Fluke, Hioki or equivalent testing instruments
• Familiarity with Data Center testing procedures and client documentation requirements

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
