Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Electrical Testing & Commissioning Technicians with a strong hands-on background in electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, and field testing.

This position focuses on electrical acceptance testing (NETA ATS), equipment startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning at data center project sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical acceptance testing, startup, and commissioning of power distribution equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing, including CTs, PTs, Hi-Pot, Megger, and circuit breaker testing .
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of low- and medium-voltage switchgear.
• Work with equipment from manufacturers such as Square D, ABB, and S&C .
• Read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Diagnose electrical issues and verify proper equipment operation.
• Prepare accurate testing reports and commissioning documentation.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70E requirements.
• Travel nationwide to support data center projects.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical field testing or commissioning experience.
• Experience with electrical power distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, or circuit breakers.
• Knowledge of electrical testing procedures and specialized test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Preferred Qualifications

• NETA or NICET certification.
• Experience performing electrical acceptance testing under NETA ATS standards.
• Data center electrical commissioning experience.
• Experience with Square D, ABB, or S&C equipment.
• Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems, or related technical training.
• Military electrical or power generation experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• $40.00–$65.00 per hour , depending on experience.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week , including weeks between project assignments.
• $75 per diem on eligible travel days, paid in advance.

This is a hands-on ELECTRICAL position.

We are specifically looking for technicians with practical experience in electrical testing, switchgear, power distribution systems, and commissioning .
