Electrical Transformer Design Enginner

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering Development

• Execute detailed electrical designs and calculations for core layouts, winding configurations, and insulation systems..
• Generate comprehensive documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering specifications, and manufacturing instructions.

Testing, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with global and local engineering standards, including IEEE, IEC, and ANSI.
• Oversee testing procedures, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Analyze diagnostic data from thermal, dielectric, and short-circuit tests to troubleshoot performance issues.

Manufacturing & Project Collaboration

• Provide technical support to the shop floor during assembly, coil winding, core stacking, and tanking phases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical engineers, procurement, and quality assurance teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Review customer technical specifications during pre-bid and post-award stages to ensure alignment with production capabilities.

Site Commissioning & Field Support

• Guide field teams during transformer installation, oil filling, vacuum processing, and final commissioning.
