Electrical Wireman

Role & responsibilities

• Carry out LV switchgear panel wiring and panel building as per approved drawings and wiring diagrams

• Perform control wiring, power wiring and internal panel wiring

• Install and wire MCB, MCCB, contactors, relays, timers, meters, indication lamps, push buttons and control devices

• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts

• Perform component mounting, wire routing, cable dressing, termination, ferruling and crimping

• Ensure neat, accurate and reliable panel workmanship

• Conduct point-to-point checks, continuity checks and basic testing

• Identify and rectify wiring faults, loose connections and incorrect terminations

• Assist in inspection, testing and troubleshooting before dispatch

• Coordinate with supervisors, panel builders and engineers to meet quality and timelines

• Follow electrical safety procedures and maintain housekeeping

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: ITI Electrician / ITI Electrical / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• Experience: 2 to 3 years in LV Switchgear Panel Wiring / Panel Building

• Industry Preference: Electrical panel manufacturing / switchgear panel manufacturing

• Skills: Control wiring, panel assembly, drawing reading, ferruling, crimping, cable dressing, continuity testing

• Work Style: Hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable in factory production environment and team working

• Location Readiness: Willing to relocate to Muscat, Oman
