Position - Electrical / MEP Draftsman

Location - Al Quoz, Dubai

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical / MEP Draftsman with strong UAE experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings and shop drawings for MEP projects.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Water Supply & Drainage, ELV, and Fire Alarm systems, with a strong understanding of UAE construction standards and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, installation drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.

Prepare electrical drawings including lighting, power, single-line diagrams, and related systems.

Prepare and coordinate HVAC, Fire Fighting, Water Supply & Drainage drawings.

Prepare ELV and Fire Alarm system drawings.

Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and other services drawings.

Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and site requirements.

Incorporate consultant and authority comments and revise drawings accordingly.

Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.

Prepare final as-built drawings based on site conditions and approved changes.

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and relevant UAE standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / MEP Engineering or related field.

Degree must be attested.

Minimum 8–10 years of UAE experience as an Electrical / MEP Draughtsman.

Strong experience in MEP construction projects.

Proven experience in Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Water Supply & Drainage, ELV, and Fire Alarm drawings.

Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and MEP drafting practices.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and project specifications.

Good knowledge of UAE construction practices and authority requirements.

Strong coordination and communication skills.

Candidates with relevant UAE project experience will be preferred.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Electrical / MEP Draughtsman: 6 years (Required)
• MEP shop drawing,coordination drawing,installation drawing: 6 years (Required)
• AutoCAD for MEP drafting: 7 years (Required)
• HVAC, Fire Fighting, Water Supply & Drainage drawing: 7 years (Required)
