Electrician / 3rd, 4th Year Apprentice

Ambrex Switchgear is looking for a qualified Electrician and a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team. We build custom switchgear, electrical metering and distribution panels for a range of projects.

The work is mainly based in our workshop on Old Dublin Road Enniscorthy, with occasional site work. You’ll work alongside an experienced team assembling and wiring electrical panels to a high standard.

What you’ll do

• Assemble and wire switchgear and distribution panels from electrical drawings.
• Fit electrical components and complete panel wiring neatly and accurately.
• Work with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• If applying as a qualified Electrician, help guide apprentices and share your experience.

What we’re looking for

• A qualified Electrician or a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Experience with panel building is welcome, but it is not essential.
