About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Repair & maintain electrical infrastructure
• Overhead, underground & plant power supply
• Repair & maintain electrical control, wiring & lighting systems
• Read technical drawings & blueprints
• Perform electrical maintenance
• Inspect transformers, & circuit breakers and other electrical components
• Assisting tradesmen
• Use of hand and power tools

What we're looking for - Skills & Experience

• Basic understanding of electrotechnology and demonstrate an interest in this field
• Strong attention to detail
• Electrical & Mechanical aptitude as well as high mathematics aptitude
• Strong communication skills and work well within a team
• Superior safety awareness
• Long term career goals and commitment to complete the apprenticeship
• Reliable on the job, high initiative, and adaptability
• Driver's licence and own transport (preferred)
• Certificate II in Electrotechnology (preferred)
• Hold a white card
