What they need

ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE - PANEL BUILDING (6+ MONTHS EXPERIENCE)

ABOUT THIS ROLE

This role will primarily focus on building and wiring electrical panels for a large-scale project in Ohio. We're looking for individuals early in their electrical careers who have at least 6 months of relevant hands-on experience, with panel building or panel wiring experience strongly preferred.

A commercial or industrial electrical background is a plus, but we're also open to candidates with experience in electrical assembly, machine operation, or technician roles who have basic electrical knowledge and are looking to enter the electrical trade.

You don't need to be enrolled in an apprenticeship program to apply. If you're motivated, reliable, comfortable working with tools, and ready to learn, we'll help you develop your skills. We offer an in-house apprenticeship program and may provide bootcamp-style training to help you work toward your apprenticeship card.

This position will require travel to Ohio for the first few months to support the project, with 60-hour workweeks expected. After that initial assignment, the role transitions to our travel branch, consisting of full-time travel work across the U.S.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive Pay based on your experience and level, with a clear path upward
  • Full Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, and HSA
  • Per Diem
  • Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) with matching
  • Safety-First Culture: Safety Equipment & Uniforms Provided
  • Real Growth Paths: this role is designed to grow with you
  • In-House Apprenticeship Program: structured development, including support to work toward your apprenticeship card and licensure

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Building and wiring electrical panels, with panel assembly as the primary focus of the initial Ohio project
  • Installing, organizing, labeling, and terminating wires and electrical components within panels
  • Learning to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
  • Assisting with electrical work on industrial job sites as project needs require
  • Gaining hands-on experience with 120V, 480V, and low-voltage systems
  • Working alongside experienced electricians on motor controls, transformers, switchboards, and other electrical equipment
  • Measuring, threading, bending, and running EMT and rigid conduit as needed
  • Supporting the team with tooling, materials, and general job site needs
  • Following job site safety standards, including applicable PPE, OSHA, and NEC requirements
  • Communicating clearly with the team and service manager
  • Showing up prepared, taking direction, and continuing to develop your electrical skills

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant hands-on experience: Panel building, panel wiring, commercial or industrial electrical work, electrical assembly, machine operation, or a technician background will be considered
  • Basic electrical knowledge: Familiarity with electrical components, wiring, tools, or fundamental electrical concepts
  • Panel building experience preferred: Experience assembling panels, wiring components, terminating wires, or following wiring diagrams is a strong plus
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in panel building and 120V, 480V, and low-voltage systems
  • Ability to follow instructions, work under supervision, and maintain attention to detail
  • Reliable, hardworking, and eager to grow in the electrical trade
  • Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license

READY TO GROW WITH US?

If you have some hands-on experience, an interest in electrical work, and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you. Whether you're bringing panel-building skills to the team or looking to take the next step toward a career in the electrical trade, we'll provide opportunities to develop your skills and grow with us.
