Electrician

Maintenance

• Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment within targeted downtime.
• Perform routine inspection of electrical panels, motors, drives, and field instruments.
• Replace defective electrical components including contactors, relays, sensors, switches, MCBs, MCCBs, VFDs, and power supplies.
• Conduct insulation resistance testing and electrical safety checks.

Production Equipment

Maintain electrical systems of:

• Bottle filling machines
• Tube filling machines
• Jar filling lines
• Cappers
• Induction sealers
• Labeling machines
• Inkjet printers (Videojet, Domino, Markem-Imaje)
• Shrink wrapping machines
• Cartoners
• Case packers
• Conveyors
• Palletizers
• Vision inspection systems
• Metal detectors
• Check weighers

Utilities

Maintain electrical systems of:

• Air compressors
• Air dryers
• Chillers
• Cooling towers
• Boilers
• Vacuum pumps
• Water pumps
• HVAC systems
• RO/Water treatment systems
• DG sets

Automation Support

• Assist in PLC and HMI fault diagnosis.
• Troubleshoot field I/O devices.
• Replace sensors, encoders, solenoid valves, and communication cables.
• Support maintenance of VFDs and servo drives.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
• Maintain GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Use appropriate PPE during maintenance activities.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.

Documentation

• Complete preventive maintenance checklists.
• Record breakdown history in CMMS/SAP/etc.
• Maintain spare parts consumption records.
• Prepare shift handover reports.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in TPM initiatives.
• Suggest machine reliability improvements.
• Support energy-saving and cost-reduction projects.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA).

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• UAE Wireman License (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of industrial automation.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in FMCG, Food, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, or Beverage manufacturing.
• Experience in high-speed packaging lines is mandatory.
• Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment is preferred.
