We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance Team on a full-time permanent basis.

About The Role As an Electrician within the Coal and Ash Plant Maintenance Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of plant equipment. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, fault-finding, testing and commissioning a range of electrical systems and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections and testing of plant equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
• Install, maintain, modify and commission electrical plant and equipment
• Follow maintenance procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work orders
• Carry out minor plant isolations and operational activities as required
• Contribute to process and system improvement initiatives
• Prepare and participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current Electrical A Grade Licence
• High Voltage Safe Work Practices Certificate and/or High Voltage Switching Certification
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong commitment to safe work practices
• Experience in heavy industrial, mining, power generation or manufacturing environments will be highly regarded
• Ability to work collaboratively within a maintenance team
