ELECTRICIAN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at ELJIN CORPORATION on a full-time basis. This role is based in Tarlac City, Tarlac and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our operations by providing expert electrical services and maintenance. As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality and efficiency of our electrical systems and installations.

What you'll be doing

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and specifications
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing problems using appropriate testing equipment and tools
• Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams and technical specifications to guide installation and repair work
• Ensuring compliance with all electrical codes, safety regulations and industry standards at all times
• Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Installing and testing electrical wiring, components and equipment to ensure proper operation
• Responding promptly to emergency electrical issues and outages
• Maintaining detailed records of work completed, materials used and hours worked
• Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Operating hand tools, power tools and specialized electrical equipment with competence and care

What we're looking for

• Formal electrical qualification or relevant trade certification recognized by the appropriate regulatory body
• Proven experience working as an Electrician in commercial, industrial or residential environments
• Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards and best practices in the electrical trade
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
• Strong practical skills with hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment
• Sound understanding of electrical theory, circuits, voltage and current principles
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and following workplace protocols
• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and in varying weather conditions
• Valid and current electrical license or permit as required by local authorities
