Holly Electric is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely and professionally, and is committed to providing excellent service to our residential and commercial customers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Install and service electrical panels, breakers, circuits, wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and related electrical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate repairs or solutions.
• Perform residential and commercial electrical work according to project requirements.
• Assist with generator-related electrical installations, including transfer switches and associated electrical connections, as assigned.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, specifications, and work orders.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Properly use and maintain electrical tools, testing equipment, and company-provided equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, project managers, and other team members.
• Accurately document completed work, materials used, and any additional work or concerns identified on the job site.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all Holly Electric safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other electrical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on electrical experience required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, troubleshooting, and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment and standard electrical tools.
• Ability to read electrical plans, diagrams, and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional attitude and strong customer-service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage assigned work efficiently.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of electrical work, including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with residential and commercial electrical projects.
• Experience with standby generator installations and transfer switches.
• Familiarity with applicable NEC requirements and local electrical codes.
• Electrical license, certification, or documented electrical training is a plus.
