Electrician

I. JOB OVERVIEW

The Electrician is responsible for the installation, dismantling, quality checking, troubleshooting, repair, packing, and maintenance of lighting fixtures, primarily chandeliers, lamps, wall lights, and other decorative lighting products. The position ensures that all products meet company quality standards and customer requirements before delivery, display, and installation.

II. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Installation and Dismantling

• Install, assemble, and dismantle chandeliers, lamps, wall lights, and other lighting fixtures.

• Perform electrical connections, testing, and commissioning of lighting fixtures.

• Ensure proper handling and installation of lighting fixtures according to safety standards and site requirements.

B. Quality Checking and Inspection

• Perform quality checking of all incoming lighting fixtures from container shipments.
• Conduct quality checking of sold items before delivery and display.
• Inspect all lighting fixtures for damages, defects, missing parts, and functionality.
• Verify product completeness and readiness for installation, display, or delivery.

C. Troubleshooting and Repair

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical defects of lighting fixtures.
• Repair defective chandeliers, lamps, drivers, transformers, LED components, and other related parts.
• Assess product issues reported by clients and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform modifications and adjustments when necessary to meet customer requirements.

D. After-Sales Service

• Conduct service visits and after-sales support for customers.
• Assess, troubleshoot, and repair lighting fixtures based on approved specifications.
• Ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

E. Packing, Transfer, and Inventory Support

• Prepare lighting fixtures for packing, transfer, delivery, and storage.
• Assist in the safe transfer and pull-out of lighting fixtures between locations.
• Ensure proper handling and protection of items during transport.
• Maintain proper control and accountability of spare parts used during repairs and servicing.

F. Reporting and Documentation

• Immediately report any damages, defects, discrepancies, or missing parts to the Operations Assistant for proper documentation.
• Submit reports on completed repairs, installations, and service activities.
• Recommend spare parts and materials required for repairs and maintenance.

G. Other Duties

• Assist in deliveries, warehouse activities, mock-ups, and other operational tasks as assigned.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management to support business operations.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

• TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant electrical installation and repair experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in chandelier and decorative lighting installation is an advantage.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
